With over two decades of experience in the branding and publishing space, Smiti Kanodia is an entrepreneur and a media stalwart. She led the successful launch and exit of Time Out, the international and cultural magazine in India, with a 150 member team across three cities. Spearheading several corporate brand revitalization and serving as a CSR advisor for corporates and an NGO she believes in empowering communities through culture and collaboration.

Salma Merchant Rahmathulla

Salma Merchant Rahmathulla is an advocate for cultural preservation, heritage, and the transformative power of shared narratives. Having lived worldwide, she brings a global perspective shaped by her experience across the nonprofit, public, and private sectors, along with a refined aesthetic from her background in luxury design and craftsmanship. Currently she leads her family’s philanthropic initiatives through The SASA Foundation, serves on the boards of The Underline, The Childhood Foundation and is part of The Smithsonian’s Regional Council.

Gayatri Hingorani Dewan

Gayatri Hingorani Dewan has a multifaceted career that encompasses magazine publishing, public relations, curated travel, and retail. Growing up in Mumbai and spending over 25 years in New York, Gayatri Hingorani Dewan now calls Miami home. Gayatri Hingorani Dewan has successfully worked within the U.S.-India corridor with a range of brands in the luxury and lifestyle sectors, focusing on creating awareness and engaging experiences that celebrate cultural richness. Gayatri Hingorani Dewan co-heads Indo Chic providing a platform for Indian designers and brands to reach a wider and diverse audience in the U.S.

Working at the intersection of heritage and. social enterprise, Tinaz Nooshian brings her rich experience in research and communications to cultural experiences. A champion of Zoroastrian material heritage and indigenous textiles, she unites her twin passions in the ‘Parsi Artistry Salon’, a unique platform that spotlights the community’s artisanship, trade acumen and search for identity. Over a two-decade long career, Tinaz Nooshian has been editor with leading media groups including Mid-day and The Times of India.

Rahul Mehrotra
Rahul Mehrotra, Founder of RMA Architects and Chair at Harvard GSD, specializes in urban design and conservation. A key figure in Mumbai’s heritage preservation, he co-authored Bombay Deco and led efforts like the Kala Ghoda rejuvenation.

Abha Narain Lambah
Abha, founder of Abha Narain Lambah Associates, specializes in conservation, museum design, and urban heritage. She played a key role in Mumbai’s UNESCO nomination and was named among the Top 20 Women Architects globally by Arc Vision in 2016.

Navin Ramani
Navin Ramani has guided 100+ architectural tours of The Miami Beach Art Deco District, served on the Directorial Board of The Miami Design Preservation League and was Co-Chairman of its acclaimed Art Deco Weekend festival in 2005. He is the author of Bombay Art Deco Architecture and has lectured widely at North American Art Deco Societies on Mumbai’s Art Deco heritage.

Mustansir Dalvi teaches architecture in Mumbai and is a former professor of architecture at the University of Mumbai. He is the editor of 20th Century Compulsions (Marg), a collection of writings about early Indian modernist architecture.
